In May each year we, the Ayr and District branch of Save the Children, hold a lunch as a way to thank our friends and volunteers with a delicious lunch, good company and an entertaining speaker. It is also a fund raising event with all the profits after costs going to aid the work of Save the Children both here and abroad. We try to keep the cost of tickets down as much as possible, so that as more people can afford to come and still take part in the raffle!
We normally offer a glass of wine or soft drink before the meal but this year we are offering a champagne reception with a harpist playing before we go into the Ballroom at Trump Turnberry. There will be a three course meal with a pianist playing. This year we are very lucky to have Hazel Irvine, the sports commentator, coming to speak to us. We have some amazing prizes on offer and it promises to be a very special, memorable lunch.
If you would like tickets, to speak, or to support this event in anyway, please contact us.
